Press Release
Network Assembly Launches assembly.gov.vin and Publishes the Official Record
Office of the Clerk
The Network Assembly of the Velocity Interoperability Network today launched its official website at assembly.gov.vin. The site carries press releases and official statements, the record of sittings and motions, the Standing Orders, the Register of Measures, the remits and membership of committees, and guidance for anyone who wishes to attend a sitting, submit a petition or give evidence to a committee.
The Official Record of the five sessions of the Preparatory Convention, held between 18 August and 4 September 2026, is published on the site today, together with the Official Record of the inaugural sitting. From the first regular sitting week the Official Record of each sitting day will be published on the working day following the sitting. Written questions tabled by delegates, and the answers given by departments, will be published in the same way.
The Standing Orders provide that petitions bearing 250 or more signatures of staff of member organisations or citizens of the Network are presented to the Assembly and referred to the Petitions Committee. Guidance on preparing a petition is set out on the Standing Orders page of this site. Comments on the website, including accessibility problems, may be sent to contact@assembly.gov.vin.
